True Friends

True Friends Once upon a time, there were two close friends who were walking through the forest together. They knew that anything dangerous can happen any time in the forest. So they promised each other that they would always be together in any case of danger. Suddenly, they saw a large bear getting closer toward them. One of them climbed a nearby tree at once. But unfortunately the other one did not know how to climb up the tree. So being led by his common sense, he lay down on the ground breathless and pretended to be a dead man. The bear came near the one who was lying on the ground. It smelt in his ears, and slowly left the place because the bears do not want to touch the dead creatures. After that, the friend on the tree came down and asked his friend that was on the ground, "Friend, what did the bear whisper into your ears?" The other friend replied, "Just now the bear advised me not to believe a false friend." Moral of the Story- A true friend in need...

Bakti Desa

So theres this event my school holds every year for  So theres this event my school holds every year for 11th graders, its called bakti desa. It is held at desa Cibeureum. So what is bakti desa? its an even where the 11th grade students of SMA Negeri 3 Bandung stay for 3 days and 2 nights at a "desa" or village. So we, the students, are divided into groups consisting of 4-5 people and are assigned a "parent" each group.  So the first day, we arrived at the village and went through the opening ceremonies, and then after that we were led to our gorup's assigned parents' homes. then we settled in, relaxed, talked to the villagers, played with the kids, and ate until the end of the day and slept. The next day we woke up early and had some light breakfast, after that we went to the fields to help our "parent" in their work in the fields. after helping out, we ate breakfast at the field near a fish pond. which was actually very nice. the rest of t...
